Lesson 5

Planet Problems

The final lesson in this series challenges your class to use their understanding of multiplication and division to solve problems relating to the distances in light years between fictional planets. They will start by filling in gaps in a distance chart as a class before tackling a variety of similar problems independently. They are encouraged not only to solve the problems but to consider which method would be most appropriate and how they can check that their answers are correct.
